    Brandon Inge

Looks like the Tigers just dropped Brandon Inge. Id say we pick him up and unload Willie Harris. Inge has been struggling as of late, but has the potential to put up some decent numbers.

    Thoughts?

Doesn't address the need for a left-handed bat.

The way this bench is swinging the bat, they could have a guy hitting with his feet and it might be an improvement.

Inge is impotent with the stick, his saving grace is 3rd base defense, something this team is not lacking

Don't disagree with that. I do like Frazier, however. Hope he stays up.

Looks like the Reds are short on LH hitters, even in the minors.

Inge's versatility is nice but as stated, he doesn't help provide a legitimate upgrade.

Bingo. And the worst thing out of all of it is that it would cut into Devin Mesoraco's playing time since Dusty Baker has to keep all his players pleased.

Ryan Doumit from Minny would be a nice bench pick-up. Small addition but nice. Maybe with Span? Twins are going nowhere fast.

Every Tigers fan I know is doing backflips because Inge is finally off the roster. I'll let someone else take a flyer on him.

Exactly his run should end, anyone who inks him will cut him before they laud him

Tigers Brandon Inge: "It's time the Tigers put him out of his misery and release him. It's painful to watch him hit. He has no bat speed left. He's a great guy but not great enough to keep on the major-league roster of a team with designs on winning the World Series."

Saw he got a hit in Oakland's lineup tonight; started at third it appears.

Inge has been on a tear since signing with the A's. 4HR in 11 games. Sure could use that production right now with Rolen out and Frazier only hitting good coming off the bench.
