The ESPN crew loves the Bengals draft so far
Giants take Adrien Robinson TE from UC
I'd really like to see the Bengals draft Antonio Allen. Though his draft stock isn't high, he looked like the best player on the SC defense at times, even better than Gilmore or Ingram. Always seemed to know where the ball was. The big knock on him is poor coverage skills, but he's more untested than anything else, as his role didn't really extend to that. Stuffs the run like nobody's business. Team leader. Works as a SS or a OLB.
Not sure what's behind this, but all four Bearcats selected thus far have gone higher than projected.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.
Bengals 5th round pick (1st of 3 picks this round): Shaun Prater CB Iowa
Scouting report on Prater:

In the fifth round, the Bengals select Shaun Prater, CB, Iowa. They have 2 more picks at the end of the round.
The Bengals first 5th round pick is Iowa CB Shaun Prater.
I'm thinking RB Chris Polk from Washington and LB Vontaze Burfict of AZ State for the next two...
I hope they take LB Massoquoi instead of Burfict, but I think we'll somehow end up with Burfict. We always seem to end up with the long police record types...

Bengals are on the clock for the next 2 picks
Bengals pick Marvin Jones WR Cal
Bengals then pick George Iloka S Boise State
Scouting report on Jones:

Scouting report on Iloka:

Looks like the Bengals got some serious value. No running back so far may disappoint fans (though don't rule it out yet with Gray still on the board), but Jones and Iloka should both be guaranteed a spot on the roster, which is excellent for fifth round picks. Jones sounds like just the possession receiver we need, while Iloka either gets to learn under Reggie Nelson at FS or move to SS and compete with Mays.
