Whats it cost you to go?

THe other thread got me thinking. What does it cost me to go a reds game?

    2hr drive
    $40 for 2 tickets.
    $10 for parking.
$25 for food and drinks. ( I have to have a stadium dog and she has to have a pretzel)
$20 For dinner on the way down.

So about $100.00 + fuel each time we go. (Though The business covers that ) Not to shabby and I do it at least a dozen times a year. Funny thing is a decent seat at the bengals game is a $100.00 Thats why I Spent my money with the reds and not the bengals each year. + there is just nothing better then a night at the Ballpark.

I love going to the ole ballyard. Headed there tommorow. Go Reds! Also, dinner and movie can easily cost more than that $100, and I much prefer the Redlegs to dinner and a movie.
What if this is as good as it gets?

15 hr drive ~ 250 or so in gas.
    50 for 2 tickets.
parking cheap i guess. 10 bucks.
    30 for food and drinks.
    60 bucks at the hofbrauhaus.
too much money at omalleys in the alley. LOL.
    hotel for a night varies.

End up being like 600 for 2 people. It's an expensive-ish trip, but I had a great time when I went in 2010. Hoping to make it out there again sometime this summer. Driving out isn't bad. Driving home is the worst.

If you park for free and take the bus down, and pick up some chips and a drink along the way, you could see a game for under 20 dollars a person easily.

Gas for my 170 mile round trip $30
My season tickets are about $20 for 2 Kroger Bleachers
Parking $10 buy my sodas and snacks and carry them in about another $10

So about $70 a game. Not bad of course after 30 games your looking at $2,100 a year.

$20 - 160 mile round trip, about 5 gallons of gas
$5 - Parking at the Levee, walk across
    $40 - 2 tickets (guessing, averaging, etc)
$15 - White Castle on the way home

    $80 a game, or so

    50 minute drive
    $20 - two tickets
    $10 - parking
$15 - fast food on the way down
    $16 - early inning beers
    $10-20 - middle inning nachos and/or skyline,pizza,penn station,hot dog,etc.

Agreed maybe you should. Why people who live that close don't attend a minimum of 1 game a week blows my mind. It is cheap if you buy cheaper seats and refrain from all the beer and food. Cheaper than a movie. Fill the stands folks. I'll be there tonight. Same as I was Wednesday night. Go Redlegs

Parking: Free usually, $5 at most
Food: Varies, sometimes $0, sometimes $30, sometimes more

Re: Whats it cost you to go?

Family HOF Membership - $75 divided by me and my buddy....comes with 4 free tickets so that covers 2 games plus we get 4 of the HOF bobbleheads this year.

Going over to 2 other games, always get cheapest tix so maybe $20 per each of us.

Parking, depends how I feel, if feeling good it costs us $3-5 dollars, if not then up to $12

Gas: about $50 split between me and buddy and maybe an additional $40 for rental car if its hot out as my van doesn't have very good AC. (drive over from Indy)

    Food: Maybe $15-20 per person
