    9 pitch inning. Ugh.

On the plus side, we get the Astros bullpen now. Yea! Runs!

    Ludwick Ks.

Having now watched Ludwick for a month, he is a very poor fit for this offense. He is just another big swinging right handed low contact hitter.

I'm sure he'll improve, he almost has to, but his agent shouldn't be calling about long-term contracts real soon.

Latos almost walks Lyles but he pops up the 3-2 pitch to catcher.

Astros are so worried about the Reds offense that they are keeping Lyles in the game.

Hopefully the Reds will double switch, isn't the pitcher's spot up first next inning? Why use Jose for only two batters.

Easy double switch, you can remove Ludwick from the game and accomplish several things with one move, if you get my drift.

    Jose should win this confrontation.

I wouldn't want to pressure Arredondo but this game could be slipping away. Jose needs to get these next two outs.

Lowrie flies out to center. Runner to 3rd. 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.
