Arredondo had retired his last 16 batters before that Altuve single.

Latos hasn't looked good. But his velocity is about where it should be and it's not like he's on a short leash. This isn't something I'm going to exert energy worry about at this point.

I think Chris Welsh said it well. The issue with Latos is not worrying about GABP. He's a fly ball pitcher he will allow some homers. He can't start aiming the ball worrying about the homer.

Too early to worry about Mat too much, every pitcher doesn't start off well. Some are slow starters.

Hopefully, Reds will come back. They must start hitting the ball soon or they will be looking up at the Pirates and Astros (maybe even the Cubs)

All of whom are pretty close to us in the standings.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Hanigan should hit cleanup for this team. Absolutely not joking.

I'd be open to that idea to be honest. I've thought for a long while that Ryan should be hitting higher in the order.
