Agreed. I think Welsh was getting at the fact that the ball beat the runner there. However, you kind of have to stutter to step to slow down.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

    We stink.

Does Bob have the guts to fire Walt for the Latos trade? Looking bad every outing.
    Dude, it's been 2 innings.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    If Latos continues to struggle.

The Latos trade will go down as Walt's claim to fame, good or bad.

Latos in his 5th start. 3 bad/mediocre starts, 1 good start.

I'll cut him some slack since his career April stats suck, and May-September are where he's made his money.

He better start to get it together soon though.

Could we have a reference point in terms of ERA and a point in time? You are making a bold statement here.
