Pensacola goes at 700 CDT. Pedro Villareal will be doing the hurling. Unless it is nickel beer night. In which case he will be joined by hundreds if not thousands.
Josh Fellhauer having a quietly nice start to his season. .333/.451/.357.808. At least from the standpoint of getting on base.

Jeff Francis isn't 40
Bakersfield takes the field at 715 PDT. Expecting a big crowd tonight as it Taco Tuesday. Who can resist? It says the starting pitcher is to be determined. I hope not by a taco-eating contest before the game. That could get ugly. Slidin' Billy pilfered a year's worth of stolen bags in one month with 29. Donald Lutz now OPSing .997 after an awful start to the season.
Rumor has it Octomom is throwing out the first pitch with one of the octuplets stationed at each of the other eight positions. Get there early.

Louisville in a delay.
Tomko dancing on the edge tonight. 7 hits and 5 walks in 5 innings. But only two runs have crossed the plate. 103 pitches. Yikes! Bats trail 2-1 after five. Rhinehart replaced Jones in the top of the third. No idea why.
Also not sure why Tim Gustafson is pitching for the Blue Ones instead of Pedro Villareal. On the website earlier it had Villareal as the starter and it is his turn. In any event Jackson leads Pensacola 4-0 in the third. Pensacola still looking for its first hit.
Louisville ties it up on a 6th-inning blast off the bat of Danny Dorn. Jordan Smith has pitched two scoreless innings in relief of Brett Tomko. 2-2 after 7.
Pensacola chipping away at that four-run deficit with one in the third and two more in the fourth. They trail 4-3. Gustafson with 96 pitches through four, along with giving up 8 hits and walking 3.
Bats score 1 in the 8th and 1 in the 9th. Durham with 2 in the home half of the 8th. Tied up at 4 in the bottom of the 9th.
Dorn and Negron with homers. Negron, Soto, Costanzo and Miller with two hits apiece.
Josh Judy on the mound for the Bats.
Free baseball in Durham as the two teams head on into the 10th.
Pensacola ties it in the bottom of the 6th as Cody Puckett leaves the building. Wirfin Obispo with three spotless innings, including 2 Ks. 34 pitches for 3 innings Definitely not Reds' material. You got to have at least 60.
