Lake County defeats Dayton 5-3. Justice French allowed five runs in five innings. Pinckard and Moran pitched two scoreless frames each in relief.

Wright with two hits (triple and home run). Buckley with two hits (both singles). Juan Silva reached base four times with a single and three walks.

A perfect first featuring two strike outs. His ERA is a ridiculous 0.38.

Devin Lohman and Donald Lutz go back-to-back. Blaze lead 2 zip after one. Five blasts for Donald Lutz in the last 8+ games.

Scoreless second for Cingrani despite a walk and a line drive single.

With Donald, there's Lutz to like. Increasingly.

An infield hit combined with an error on the throw puts a runner on second. But Cingrani strikes out two batters in succession. 2-0 Blaze in the middle of the third. Cingrani with four Ks.

    Cingrani strikes out the side around a base knock. 4 IP 3 H 0 ER 1 BB 7 K. Update: 1 ER in 27 IP 0.33 ERA 12 H 6 BB 35 K 0 HR.

Vidal singles. Blaze announcer says Vidal is hitting the unluckiest .300 he has seen, stating Vidal is hitting the ball hard almost every time up.

Lohman 2 for 2. (Single and home run.)
    Lutz has a solo jack.
    Mattair has a double.
    Vidal has a single.

I would say that Tony Cingrani's ball makes a special 'pop' when it hits the catcher's mitt, but I have no idea if that is true.

It is just strike after strike with Cingrani. Another strike out on 3 pitches.
Bryson Smith must be a good fielder. The announcer is impressed.

1-2-3 fifth for Cingrani. Two more Ks and a liner to center.

Bakersfield announcer seems to think Cingrani is too good for this level. I wonder how much longer he stays in High A.
