He is WAAAAY behind any fastball, just guessing up there. It's really sad. He knows it.

Doesn't look like that much of a drop off to me and you'd almost HAVE to expect a smaller percentage to be on for the 8 hole hitter.

With such a dramatic drop off in DP's hit into, I'd say it's a safe bet that he wouldn't hit into more in the 4 hole.
Heck, I was just joking. Still, as slow as he is, I still think cleanup would be a huge error.

AT this point, given what we have seen so far, is there any optimism that Rolen is going to be even a league average hitter this year? I'm not so sure.

He's been bad since like July of 2010. He's done.

You never know. Who would have thought Votto would have the year he's having?

Yeah he's got a .940 OPS. He sucks.

I do believe that the Reds structured his contract in such a way that they will be paying him for years to come. I could be wrong though...

League average 3B is .700 ops right now. About the same last year. He'll get close.

Not this overmatched at the plate. Throw any live fastball or slider around the plate and he's not going to get around on it. And that one armed swing tells me his shoulder is toast. Not to be down on Rolen, who is a great pro...but this is not great.
