Kevin Corriea doesn't have particularly good numbers against the Reds. 4.69 ERA, blah peripherals. But in 15 games (10 starts) he is 7-1.
Johnny Cueto has a 2.70 ERA, good peripherals. In 15 starts he is 10-3 against the Bucs.

Drew Stubbs 1 for 8 (a single) with 3Ks. Nowhere to go but up for Drew.

We haven't lost a series in a while, hope they can keep that going.

The way Cueto has been pitching, I like our chances.

I hate swinging at first pitches. Stubbs is probably the only guy who I don't mind seeing take that approach since he's more likely to strikeout later in the count. But Votto can't be that easy of an out.

Cueto gives up a bloop single to McClouth but no damage done. 0-0 going to the 2nd.

As a side note, I'd like to congratulate myself for betting on Believe You Can in the Kentucky Oaks. Now I have mucho extra betting money for tomorrow.

I going to tell you something you will not believe: Jay Bruce will be at the All Star Game while Scott Rolen will not.

Nice AB from Alvarez. He has really improved so far this year.
