Heisey flies out to center. 1 out.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Cueto with a good cut there but it slices foul.

Cueto's gotten some really solid swings up there tonight.

No offense to the Pirates manager, but he keeps pitching to Hanigan with first base open and Cueto on deck. Hanigan gets a hit every time. Strange managing.

Clint Hurdle isn't exactly a MENSA man. I seem to recall him removing his best hitter Holliday for a pinch runner in an important game, and then was stuck with the pinch runner batting in Holliday's spot in extra innings.

    Cueto K's. Two out.

Cozart flies out to center, Rolen and Hanigan left on base. 6-1 Reds going to the bottom of the 8th.

With Cueto at 88 pitches, I might have hit for him. Missed an opportunity there. You never know how many runs you'll need.

I sense Dusty's going for the complete game tonight. Big time.

I would have hit for him also.

Silly. Johnny tends to lose it all at once. Hope it doesn't happen tonight.

I would've let Hoover go two innings here.
