65 pitches for Leake. This bullpen could be really well rested after the week weve had

Pitching, rested or not, isn't the problem.

Seriously, did you EVER think you'd say that about your own Cincinnati Reds?

James McDonald progressing nicely. Pirates got him by trading a then 36 yr old Octavio Dotel. Talk about Value, what a STEAL! They might want to think about upping the ante to lock him up...don't know if they got the shells though

Nice slick play there from Cozart. Really nice. McCutchens' got some wheels.

Last year that was part of the problem. The bullpen was overused by the secoind half of the year. This year seems to be different. This will help come later in the year

Cozart is a fine player. He fields very well and his offense isn't the type to carry the team, but plays very well for his position.

Agreed. They were well on the way to being toast by this point in 2011.

Walk #4 from Leake. 1st & 2nd with 1 down. If there was anybody to pitch around, it was probably Alvarez (he'd been on fire lately).
