Happens when there are only 2 good offensive players on the roster. A couple promising rookies, but really only 2 good offensive players.

These guys have the talent tho. I mean we could score runs. but I agree that when we get behind we swing for the 3 run homer..Last night was some of the best at-bats Ive seen these guys have all year.

Classy move there from Mesoraco. He goes out to chat with Leake, simply to give the home plate ump time to walk off that foul ball off his foot.

Deep drive to center, but Stubbs tracks it down. 1 down.

McDonald grounds out to Phillips. Quickly 2 down.

Nice play by Rolen on the short-hop. 1-2-3 for Leake.

He makes that look so routine and it's anything but.

Funny how you didn't have anything to say during yesterday's offensive attack.

I'm not sure I'd say ONE bad pitch. He's had a bunch of them out of the zone. 3 walks. And he threw a cookie up there to Tabata on the double just before the HR.

But I agree....good start so far.

I don't know. Phillips is decent. Cozart might be. Hanigan gets the most of what he's got, but it only makes him passable. Mesoraco might be good. Rolen's best days are behind him though. Ludwick's maybe as well. Stubbs wasn't ever a good hitter in the minors or college and Heisey and Frazier are bench players. They at least need some guys who can fill a niche with a platoon advantage here and there but the lopsided roster is killing them IMO.

You know everytime I see Johnny Damon get a big hit I cringe. The Reds could have used him the same way the Indians are. Hes leading off for them, I don't care the guy can still get it done offensively
