    This offense is downright offensive.

Clearly the Reds don't respect McCutchen.

I hate outs on the bases about as much as anything in baseball. Somebody should be shot for that one IMO.

You jinxed him. He's homer prone, so he's never out of the woods.

While I didn't care for the reason for the view, it is nice seeing the seats full of fans in Pittsburgh.

That homer might have sealed the deal. Home runs are Leake's kryptonite

It was still a good start.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Still a strong outing. Leake is far from a problem with this team. Though trading him for a big bat could be a solution.

I'm not giving Leake a strong outing tonight. He's facing the worst offense in MLB and one that hasn't scored more than five runs in a game all year. Leake gave up just about the max that Pitt is capable of scoring.

And with the reds bats, which belong in hospice, three runs given up is a loss.

I assume you were talking about the Reds' hospice bats last night as well when they were hitting three home runs and 12 hits.
