That's just a bang bang play. Kinda hard to complain much on that one.
Votto's cleat DEFINITELY got on the plate before the tag.
Don't know if the ump got the call right, but he was in bad position. He couldn't see when the catcher tagged Votto. No way he knows what actually happened.
