Hanigan catching Latos for the 3rd straight time. Latos has seemed to like Hanigan better than Mes. Latos is a pitcher who likes for the catcher to call the game for him. This is something Mes needs to work on

Rolen is going to get a looooong leash. Ludwick will be the one to sit first.

Latos is historically very good in May. Hope that holds true.

Good start so far. 1-0 Reds.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Ricart commercials are an embarrassment to sleazy car dealerships everywhere.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Votto has over .400 average with RISP. If we had a great leadoff hitter the 4 spot wouldn't be as much of a concern

Votto batting .333 in may. He seems to be seeing the ball better. Hoping for a big month. Imagine the numbers Bruce and Votto could put up if both were riding hot streaks at the same time
