No, I'm saying that for someone who didn't have their good stuff, he managed to limit the damage to 1 run. The nats made some mistakes and he took advantage of them. Hardly what i'd call a bad start.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)

Line drive to short from Phillips and Votto gets doubled up off of first. Brain fart from Joey.

Funny, all the debate about a one-run performance.

Want something to debate? How about the Reds offense.

No debate there. Zimmerman is a RHP and the Reds are overmatched.

No, he wasn't "Good". I'm saying he wasn't "Bad". He didn't have his good stuff, but he managed to control the opposition regardless. He battled through it and took advantage of their mistakes. Hardly an outing to really complain about IMO.

I'd like to see the stats on how many times this year the Reds have produced three hits in an inning; four hits in an inning; four baserunners in an inning; five baserunners in an inning.

High chopper back to the pitcher and he jumps to about 9 foot 3 to snag it. 1 down.

Well we already know that stinks besides Votto and Bruce....and sometimes Cozart and even barely sometimes Stubbs.

Uh-oh. Grounder back to the pitcher and Logan tries to bare-hand it. I hope he isn't hurt.

I think he's fine. Not a good move though. It ended up as an IF single btw.
