Just not sold on this team. Walt & Bob continue to ignore the obvious year after year. 2010 was an anomaly. This team won't see the playoffs until they get a true cleanup hitter/LFer. And now 3B is a joke. Stubbs is a joke.

They need to have the guts to tweak this team. But Bob is probably wanting to stand pat like he wanted to do in 2011.

This team will be .500 all season unless they get some guts to tweak it.

Atleast the Cardinals lost to the Braves 7-2.

100 from Henry. Some flamethrowers on the bump tonight.

Don't knock Walt and Bob, they have really improved the pitching, Rome wasn't built in a day.

The offense is poorly constructed, they will fix it, but maybe not immediately. It's the next frontier.

Goodness. Just froze Frazier on that 84 mph changeup. Wowsers.

Ballgame. Checked swing called a strikeout.

Riddle. What's mostly right handed and can't get on base?

Terrible call, not that it probably would have mattered, but I don't think I've seen a worse check swing strike called.
    Thank goodness for baseball.

Wow, that's crappy to end a game on such a close check swing like that. Not that it would have mattered, though. I doubt they could have hit that guy if he was throwing from second base.

Agreed. Ludwick was clearly overmatched though. As good as Aroldis is...Rodriguez is right up in that territory too. He's TOUGH.

Ludwick's bat was well behind those FB's, not a chance.

As for the complaining earlier, I just find it amusing that we're considering the game virtually over with a 1 run deficit and Bruce leading off the inning. I know he K'd, but if there was anybody on the club who could've tied it up in a heartbeat, it was Bruce. No way in the world I'd consider the game over with him due up. Alas, the better pitching won the game. As it usually does. Get 'em next time.

How many thousands of times are you gonna bring this up? We get it... you don't think they can hit righties.

Not anymore, Sir Charles. Everybody has learned that if you pitch around Votto, you can beat the Reds by scoring 4 runs or less. Until the Reds get a real bat behind Votto, this is what we have.
