I agree. But like I said, he wanted the sac bunt. If that's the decision you're going to go with...do you still burn a PH'er?

Nats broadcaster: He hit the Paducah out of that one, that's for sure.

Latos need to give this team close to 7 and he should be out of the game really by 5. This guy has to be better than this. He came in with very good numbers against Washington for his career.

K to end the inning (3 straight). Arredondo actually looked good that inning. The HR pitch was a pretty good pitch too IMO. Unfortunately just a good big swing.

He was out of the game after 5. And he allowed 1 run. (That was Arredondo in the 6th)

Shoulda been at least 2 more though. Too many walks. I think this was a bad outing for Latos today.

I was writing that before I knew he was out. I am not watching the game.

You are going to tell me Latos pitched well enough just beacuse he only gave up 1 run in 5 innings?

    Lead off walk for Votto.

As for Latos, he had 2 tough innings with high pitch counts. But overall, he did fine. His control clearly wasn't as good as it should've been, but that wasn't a bad game IMO.

Maybe I'm naive, but I take 5ip 1r from my starter and am happy with it. Now you can't do it every night, but it gives you a great shot for the win.
