    Someone called that!
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

We might be watching Phillips get just a little older before our eyes.

When was the last time that excuse was used for Phillips? With Harper on first, Phillips had to be thinking second base subconsciously.

    Maybe. Maybe not.

That wasn't an excuse. It was smoked and the ump looked like he blocked Phillips' vision as well. From what I've seen, his range hasn't tailed off one bit.

It wasn't the hardest hit ball Phillips has ever faced. I've grown accustomed to that ball being an out with Phillips. He didn't even get a glove on it.
