ball four to zimmerman was close...
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
Wow. That was close. Zimmerman with the walk. Borderline call there.
I was simply responding to the plan that suggested we need to send Heisey down to play Constanzo and Frazier full time.
And Constanzo needed to hit a ground ball towards the right side of the field in that situation. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, and no outs, his job is to get the runner on 2nd to third.
1. Costanzo is a better 3B than Frazier.
2. Frazier is a far better LF than he is a 3B.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
Apparently it was so close that Yahoo says Zimmerman K'ed.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Tapper to LeCure to end the inning.
Sam did a nice job with LeMeat of the Nat's lineup.
Time for #3?
Gorzelanny on the hill for the Nats
LOL. Off the bat I thought he had it. Fly out to center.
