I had to sign on to see the comments on what people thought of letting Bailey hit in a situation like this. Makes no sense whatsoever.

I guess Bailey was only coming out if Mesoraco got an out.

Baker has been known for this.

Especially in a tie game. If Bailey was sitting at 85 pitches, different story, but as it is, he's only going 1 more inning.

How does that make sense either? That's an even worse hitting opportunity, might be worth considering Bailey go another inning for such a limited upside.

Well, let's hope Homer holds them here.

It's calls like that that make me wonder why Dusty isn't a manager in the AL.

Closers close. Hitters hit. Pitchers bunt.

That's the difference between Saturday and tonight. Sending Latos up there was sound since there were no outs. Don't get sending Bailey. However, he is back out there for the 7th.

I just don't see giving up an out there.

Oh I don't agree with it. I would have PH for him.

If Bailey comes out and puts up a zero in the bottom of the inning it's an okay decision, if not it's terrible. I wouldn't have any issues with it if this team was hitting though, but with how we've struggled I think you have to go for a run whenever you get the chance.
