Geez, the 3B and LF spots continue to kill us. Automatic outs.

Horrible ab by Mes. I will cut Frazier a little slack as that 3rd strike call was bad. But Mes, if you can't hit, you can't catch.........what can you do?

Come on, Dave. No one was saying the Reds don't K a lot. Just saying the entire league K's a lot. The Reds problem is hitting with RISP, whether it's a K or any other non-productive out. I have zero confidence right now in any right-handed hitter on this team.

The approach is mind boggling. Sure Frazier got called out on a ball, but with 2 strikes you cannot take the pitch. Just that simple, especially when you just need a ground ball to score a run.

It's like most of them are clueless at the plate.

Votto will change his approach at the plate. The rest of them have one approach only. Or so it seems. Put the bat on the ball, the Braves were conceding the run.

He's probably been watching Stubbs too long.

    Seriously, couldn't agree more.

This team is a trainwreck at the plate. Only one guy with a professional approach at the plate on the whole team. Maybe two. Hanigan has a good approach, but just doesn't have the talent.
Rounding third and heading for home...

What exactly does Brook Jacoby get paid for?

I forgot Hanigan. He seems to have a clue.

The same thing Bryon Price gets paid for: To watch players underachieve.

Gotta give Bruce some props too. He's more and more becoming a patient and consistent threat at the plate. He still doesn't walk a lot, but you can't say anything negative about the season he's having so far. It's all-star caliber, IMO.
