Heisey, who can't hit lefties, does so and gives the Reds a two run lead. Some good stuff tonight from Reds hitters.

I've said it before, but I would really just rather have Heisey locked into the LF spot for better or worse. I think the platoon is only hurting both guys.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Frazier needs to relax. Too anxious. He'll calm down.

I agree. Stick with a guy. Ludwick hasn't shown us anything since the grand slam. In fact, he is more or less an easy out recently. Nice story but ride the pine.

Ball has to get over the wall, the yellow line is on the wall and in the field of play.

I love that play from Votto. Great play. And Jack Wilson is still a ML player.

Great play by Votto to start a 3-6 FC on a bunt attempt
