Heisey is almost decapitated on the first pitch he sees.

On a hit and run, Heisey legs out an infield single. As it was a hard play for Jones to make (a weak grounder), Bruce tried to leg it out and make it to third, but is gunned out on a play at the bag.

I guess you can't fault Bruce for bing aggressive. It was a great play by the Braves infield- everyone did their job.

Frazier strikes out on a pitch a foot outside to end the inning.

That's exactly how I feel. If anyone isn't completely on their game on the Braves' defense, Bruce is easily safe.

It looked like he was safe if the lead leg would have went straight to the bag. Still not sure Wilson got him, but the ball beat Bruce and the slide looked funny.

Bruce slightly hesitated as he rounded 2nd...if he didn't he would have been safe.

    I like it, though.

Except Hudson hasn't pitched that many innings yet this year and has not had pinpoint control either. 5BB in like 18 innings. If he is starting everyone off with balls don't help him get in a flow by swinging early.

Belt-high changeup is not the best pitch in that situation.
