Like I said last night, give each team a run or two and start the game in the sixth inning.

Mes will be joining Frazier on the trip back to AAA. Looks overmatched right now.

I think the last time Santana faced the Reds in New York, he beat 1-0, hitting a HR off the foul pole. I was there, it was about 100 degrees. Matt Maloney was great, and I figured he would soon be a solid starter for us. Go figure.

Leake 2-2. Can he play third base?

He put a better swing on Santana's changeup than Mes or Frazier.

Yup -- he's proving me wrong about him -- I thought he would hit enough to stick & have value ---

I was thinking the same thing. Not a bad idea.

Mike Leake has a better approach at the plate than a couple of the Reds' regulars. If you played him every day, I'm almost certain his OBP would top Drew Stubbs.

His performance really tanked during the last 3rd of the season in AAA last year, I thought it was because he was tired. Nope, they obviously found something and the majors have even faster.

He needs to work it out.
