This was a good win. And two of three so far on this tough road trip. Nice!

Citi field isn't too unlike Petco... nice park for him to pitch in.

Nothing better than coming into The City and beating the old Metsies.

    Star Of the Game:

    3. Chapman

    2. Leake

    And the #1 Star:

    Jersey Boy, Todd Frazier!

In the fifth inning Frazier was ticketed for Louisville. By game's end he was back on track for Cooperstown. Baseball is a funny game.

Can't wait to see our approach against a knuckleballer tomorrow. Should be interesting.

Honorable mention Jay Bruce off the bench to break the tie.

I take back my earlier comments about Leake replacing Frazier at Third Base.

Seriously. "That was huge." Maybe he's just playing good and will cool down, but the last few years that was almost always a K. This time it was just short of a HR but long enough to get em in. Lull em to sleep for frazier lol.

(unless it was Byrdak pitching to him with the bases empty in the 9th and the division to be won.)

Aren't you the same guy who was complaining about Frazier earlier in this same thread....amazing. I held off posting on here tonite because I wanted to read this thread from start to finish toward the end of the game. It's amazing, at the beginning people are complaining about Frazier, Leake, and Dusty. At the end Leake and Frazier have turned their careers around, and well people still on Dusty's case.
