Well, Leake was 2 for 2 today against Santana.

Leake bunts Mes over to 2nd. Two outs.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Then let him swing, you have eight outs left.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Solid game from Mike. At the plate and on the bump. Heck, on the basepaths too. :O)

Cozart goes down swinging. 3-2 Mets going to the bottom of the 7th.

Bunting down a run with one out in the seventh inning when the pitcher has thrown in excess of 100 pitches is asinine.

Hasn't jay Bruce earned any every day start status at this point? On another note, Zack just chased one way outside the zone inside. Ouch.

The number of pitches thrown is not relevant. Leake was out of the game as a pitcher in any event.

Reds are playing 20 straight, gotta give 'em an off day once.

    Arredondo in to pitch.

Dusty seems to do this a lot. A testament to the bench or his managing style...not sure.

Regardless of how they've done it, the Mets have made the plays tonight. Our hitters haven't helped though.
