    Stubbs and knuckleballs don't mix.

Stubbs and a lot of balls don't mix. Make that 43 strikeouts in 146 at-bats. On the positive side, he has drawn 7 walks.

I don't think Heisey is wired to hit a knuckleballer either though. It still woulda been a good day to give Stubbs off.

He's got a chance if they actually called for him to bunt the damn ball.

But that would require Baker to force Stubbs to do something he really doesn't want to do.

    So....three Ks and counting.

According to Gameday, Latos' fastball is only at 88-89. Is that normal?

I would think that is a little low for Latos.

I thought he was a 93-94 guy with the ability to reach back for a little more.

I don't think it's all that common for any manager to call for a non sacrifice bunt. Stubbs is smart enough to know he should lay down more bunts, especially with 2 outs, nobody on and Votto on deck. If they're hard to catch I'm sure they're also hard to bunt, but it's not like he's making contact either way.
