I actually think Stubbs approach has been better this year. He is trying to go to RF a lot. I wish he'd lay down more bunts though.

Dear Cowboy. Thank you for telling the world Hannigan should bat 2nd. Please pay a visit to dusty and give him your wisdom.

    Thanks

I don't think Hanigan can play shortstop or centerfield.

Sure would have been nice if somebody could get on in front of Votto.

I guess Stubbs' game isn't defined by bunting 78-mph knuckleballs.

Maybe one run will be enough.

I'd love to see the stats but I'd imagine our 2 hole hitter (whoever it is) is hitting well over .300 this year. 1 and 4 are the problems. And 5-6-7.

I wonder if Bruce has started one of his funks. Hopefully they have a shorter lifespan than in past years..........

    5 isn't a problem. That's Jay Bruce.

He wasn't a Red for all that long. Actually though, it was Fernandez. I was wondering why baseball reference didn't list him when they list guys from way back who had cups of coffee and were never heard from again.

Pitched in 19 games for the Reds in 01 and 02 (10 starts). 1-4, 4.43 ERA as a Red

If 5 is a problem this offense needs more problems.

The 2-spot in the lineup is hitting .298 coming into the game.

Pitcher late getting to first. You mean Latos can outrun Murphy starting from the pitcher's mound?

I would have guessed a little higher but that's still not bad at all. A real leadoff and cleanup hitter are the problems imo.

Over his last ten games, his BA has gone from .300 ... to .300. Not sure what Bruce you're watching.
