Couldn't find any Reds...
Jim Sundberg (61) -First catcher to win six AL Gold Gloves...
Dennis Leonard (61) -I think he's the Royals leader in career wins, though I may be wrong...The only year he was injured was the year the Royals won the World Series. Kind of like the Old Lefthander missing the 1961 season.
Reggie Jackson (65) -Was considered for the part of Geordi LaForge in "Star Trek-The Next Generation"...My favorite Reggie quote: "I represent both the underdog and the overdog in our society". Overdog???
Brooks Robinson (75) -The nicest of superstars...Played for the same team for 23 years, a record (tied with Yaz)...Sixteen consecutive Gold Gloves, and he earned them all... Holds a major league record he'd rather not hold: he hit into four triple plays.
Carroll Hardy (79) -Happy birthday to the only man to pinch-hit for Ted Williams.
Babe Adams -Extreme control pitcher; probably the best pitcher in Pirate history...Averaged only 1.29 walks per nine innings...After his playing days he served as a reporter and foreign correspondent in World War Two and the Korean War...
