Oh, I got that sinking feeling that the forecast for the Reds in this Yankees series calls for pain.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I hope Yankee fans are appreciative of having an historic franchise such as the Reds visit their stadium.

    That was kind of sad.

I hate giving away outs in the 1st inning. Why does Dusty do that? The guy's already in scoring position, you're out of a double play...why give them an out there?

I don't necessarily disagree with you in theory but I can see him thinking that Stubbs is very likely to strike out in that situation so why not use the out to move a runner over to 3rd.

I agree, I don't have a problem with Stubbs bunting right there. If you are going to blame anyone it should be Votto and Phillips

Unfortunately I'm not able to watch the game, did Bronson get the reception one would expect him to get given his history with the Yanks?
