    Friday, May 17, 2012, Minor-League Updates

Felix Perez somehow has a HR, but Louisville, not as surprisingly, trails. It's 5-2 after eight. Francis went five, and Josh Judy had this curious line: 1.2 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 1 K.

Tim Gustafson turned in a nice start and Pensacola leads 2-1 after eight. Yordanys Perez drove in both runs with singles. Donnie J going for the save.

The final score of the latest Louisville defeat is 5-3. The rest of the lineup matched Perez's three hits.

Vidal makes a very, very nice barehand pickup (according to the Wahoos announcer) on a medium-hit grounder to third for the first out of the ninth.

McMyne looking for the Dayton save.

Tom Nichols pronounces it Mick-MIN. I had assumed it was Mick-MINE.

As soon as I say it, Cingrani gives up a solo HR off of the top of the wall. Blaze up 2-1.

    Cingrani - final line: 6ip, 5h, 1er (HR), 0bb, 12k. 90 pitches.

Blaze up 2-1 in the 7th.

Brooks Pinckard came in for Cingrani and has blown the lead. Blaze down 3-2 and Lake Elsinore is still threatening in the 7th.

The guy who took Cingrani deep earlier in the game just hit a 3 run bomb off of Pinckard. Blaze down 6-2. This guy had 1 at bat on the season coming into tonight, 4 days ago.
