The playing of Costanzo, as desperate as it is, is the first indication in several years that this organization cares about the lefty/righty percentages. Too bad they didn't care back in January.

Stray, I was thinking the same thing about our hitting coach. Most of our guys go up there and look like they have no plan other than swing hard. By most I mean an overwhelming majority.

Whoa. Low pitch to Stubbs called a strike. Would have been ball 4.

6 strikeouts in 2 innings. This is comical.

Nova correctly realizes that all he has to do with two strikes is bounce a curveball and our entire batting order will swing at it.

I mean really. I give Brian Price some credit because you can see improvement in our pitchers. You can tell he's been working with them and with a few it's coming together. I gotta question what Jacoby is even doing on this team.

Thank you A-Rod. Quick flyout. 1 down.

Six strikeouts after two innings...Stubbs going from 3-0 to striking out at an obvious ball? A serious major league club doesn't let the same problems fester like this year after year after year like the Reds do.

I figure Nova and the Reds lineup are working in tandem to pay tribute to Kerry Wood. I'm thinking 20+ K's today.

    Nice work, Homer. 1-2-3 inning.

    Votto leading off in 3rd.
