Heisey could be making a push at the lead off spot.

We can only hope. He's got two hits today, plus he's made contact in three consecutive at-bats!

Stubbs draws a rare walk (his second today), and Girardi wants the lefty to face Votto.

true, but thats the best lineup they could have thrown out there. at least somebody else was leading off

5 runs in 6 innings. Sounds good to me.

Not much to show for it today but Stubbs has had good AB's today. At least he's showing more discipline taking Nova deep into the count before his 3rd inning K. He at least is making an effort to Get Joey to the plate with a runner aboard.

They caught Stubbs going. Lol Welsh said he had a bad move and then he picks off a runner.

Stubbs channeling his inner Freel. Classic.

Stubbs wasn't going and that wasn't a good move.

That's ok Drew. No big deal. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, buddy! We're still winning by two.

Stubbs seems like a good person, just not a very good baseball player.

No sooner do I post a positive for Stubbs; he proceeds to get picked off with Votto at the plate.....(ripping my last 6 hairs out)...

How was that not a good move. Stubbs is an above average base runner and he had him frozen.
