    I will never understand HAVING to use your "closer" when the guy pitching before him was literally unhittable.

    Couldn't agree more ...This is a no brainer if Chapman's out there. Marshall hasn't pitched a clean 9th but MAYBE once this year.

    It wouldn't matter even if he did swing. Point is, his glovework has a long way to go. It didn't matter there, obviously, but dropping a ball like that can often be the difference in getting a borderline call.

    Being able to use Chapman at any point in the game is more valuable than being able to do so with Marshall. Keep in mind that chapman went against the middle of the order.
