he showed me he was not covering 1st base

closer by committee discussion has not worked in 100 years of baseball, so it might be something Dusty will try

Yes, 50% of them, to be exact.

    Per manager's orders.

How about Jose!?!? Hopefully we remove Marshall from the closers role and go with either Arredondo or Simon

Marshall should be a situational lefty reliever ONLY! Glad for the win but Red's management are a bunch of bufoons!

Marshall needs to get rid of the fastball, it seems like it's hit everytime it's thrown

No matter how bad he did, KoKo always sucked it up and gave it his best. Marshall's body language tells me that he becomes afraid. Closing is 50 % mental. .

We just have a lot of guys playing out of position on this team. Whether it's the batting order or the bullpen. Marshall is a great lefty out of the pen but he's not a closer.

True story. Even if Cordero had nothing, he threw it with all he had.

Would the manager have anything to do with this?

Marshall had a couple of those guys down, then came in with the heater.

93, 94 mph....I didn't know he had. But why not stick with the curve or slider?
