Our DH possibilities are truly dreadful.

Currently we don't have six major league hitters much less nine.

I like that we're trying Heisey at the top of the order. If he does anything whatsoever in this role then he can pretty much lock down an everyday job.

    I'll try!

5 ortho surgeries on my right arm might limit me somewhat though

The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

Unless he goes 0-4 then he'll be out THE very next game.

Chapman will be the closer according to Baker. If the Reds have a lead today, Chapman will most likely be the guy.

I thought Dusty said Chapman is now the closer but is not available today

    Sure sounds like Dusty.

Marshall said he hasn't heard anything. That is how you treat a player, Dusty. LOL.

Did anyone hear the mound groan when CC Sabathia got up on it?

I always wondered about the "players love him" line. Maybe they do, but I would think they are also a very competitive group of guys and want the best chance to win.
