    He likely wasn't trying to throw anything else for a strike.
    Possibly, but I doubt it. Marshall can drop down a little on his fastball -- it too can be very nasty on lefties. He wasn't close. Especially the second one. I think he was struggling. And again -- Heyward got a very good swing on the last pitch. One of Marshall's lesser curves.
