Good inning... In Cardinals news, Matt Carpenter comes up gimpy after doubling in the 1st, and he's out with some back issue. That bug is really spreading in that locker room.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Latos with a 4.53 ERA. I remember years when a 4.53 ERA made you the staff ace.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

I almost feel sorry for St. Louis. Almost.

Turn about is fair play. Braves jumped on Cueto. Reds are jumping on Beachy.

Well, at least Latos made him throw six pitches.

This is a big inning for Latos with Prado-Uggla-Freeman coming up. If we can get through this with no damage, that will be huge.

Reds have not left a runner on base through five.

How many times has Latos had back-to-back 1-2-3 innings this year? I'm guessing it's a pretty low number.
