Wow Ondrusek left that one up too.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    Not necessary

Ok, Logan got them down with one run.

I assume Chapman will try his hand at a possible save.

Reds will go to the 9th with at least a 1 run lead and hand Chapman the ball. I like that.

I'm glad Logan got out of that without further trouble. I have no faith in Dusty to bring in Chapman for a high-leverage situation in the 8th inning because he is now "the closer."
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Like I said, we're talking about quite a ways away. The team OBP could improve significantly by then.

If things stand pat as they are now, of course they'd need to add a bat or two. But if players improve and get back to their norms...maybe they won't need a bat.

Line out to Bourn by Cozart. He's hit the ball hard tonight.
