Somebody (PRICE!!!) needs to sit Latos down and tell him once he gets ahead of hitters to go aggressively after them instead of trying to get them to chase and to nibble. Pound them. You're stuff is good enough to just go after the hitters. Heck, listen to Leake. He said the same thing yesterday basically.
I'm not sure if it's that he's trying to nibble or that he just doesn't have very good control of his offspeed stuff.

Thom/Chris keep alluding to how good of a game Hanigan calls and how Latos is just going with Hanigan. To me it just seems like Latos doesn't throw many sliders/curves for strikes, so hitters sit and wait for the heat.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

I love all the dingers...but I can't remember the last time I saw a sustained inning from the Reds. That's what we REALLY need.

Easy inning for Beachy after the homer.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
