Stubbs has to drop down for some pushups after that one. Pop out to 2nd.

In other news, Joey Votto has a future in the game.

Wow. Most home runs the Braves have given up in a series in 2 years and this series is not even half way over.

Poor Nuxie. In 61 the Reds traded him to the As for John Tsitouris. When the Reds got Tsitoruis they decided they no longer needed a young guy named Claude Osteen and basically gave him to the Dodgers. A series of horrible trade decisions.

Speaking of Joe, when he was still with us and doing games I used to turn down the tv volume and listen on the radio. I don't do that anymore.

Wow, Joey with the SB. Nice jump.

Phillips grounds out to 2nd. Runner to 3rd. 2 outs.

I did the same thing - listen on the radio and watch on the TV.

Bruce could use a base hit here.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I have to say, ORH, that whenever Jim Kelch is in the booth, the game is better. He actually brings the best out of Brantley. I hope the Marty transition begins soon.

They keep talking about how quick Beachy is to plate, and I'm not seeing it. I think they are seeing that he doesn't have a high leg and are assuming that it's quick and a slide step, but he kind of hangs there at the top of his motion for a second.

I'd like to see his time compared to other "quick to the plate" pitchers.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......
