    Reds win.

Dusty, Wilson Valdez plays third in the ninth inning of close games. Not Cairo. Not Frazier .Wilson Valdez.

    Nice win.

Could even call that a 4 out save. Here is hoping that Reds lead the league in save opportunities.

Had a meeting and missed the whole game. Caught up with it on the GT. good night for Latos, who may finally be getting his groove back. Nice.

    Fun fact:

Latos has a 2.35 ERA this month.

    Cueto is at 2.67.

    Good times.

As much doom and gloom as there was only two weeks ago, things look pretty good. Stubbs and Phillips have come alive, Latos, Leake, and Bailey look good, and a four-game winning streak is the result against good clubs. Gotta think that we got them where we want them. Kinda.

The Atlanta paper runs a bit after each game of quotes from the manager and various players. Some really interesting stuff from last night's game that many here may find heartening.

Go watch BP's second home run. The guy who caught it was holding a beer in his left hand and caught the home run ball in his right hand without spilling a drop. Impressive. Even the fans are stepping up their game.

Don't worry, they'll play over their heads for a stretch at some point also and folks will expect that to be the new norm
