This is shaping up to be the pretty much typical 2012 Reds' game. No offense for six innings. Good pitching. Reds score late.
He still isn't the same. His fastball is weaker and he isn't as good. 2 month sample sizes suck. That doesn't mean he is not a stable member of the the Reds rotation, but don't look for 2006,2009-10 production. The only reason he wasn't better in 2007-8 was because of his hand numbness which he eventually got medicated and his numbers rebounded.
Matter of fact, this season reminds me of a poor mans version of 2006. I suspect the numbers will show that out in the end.
Solo shots aren't that bad, seems like most of the ones he's gave up this year came with nobody on base.
Not a great swing by Votto on a 3-1 count.
I wish Bruce would snap out of it.
A broken bat grounder for Bruce. Actually seems like progress to tell you the truth.
Bruce without a doubt is the worst player "right now" on the Reds team. Dude does nothing. Amazing.
Halfway home. Runs are at a premium tonight.
Let's get some runs this inning, fellas. Bronson cruising pretty well.
We're gonna need someone to run into one.
Anyone else following on mlb.com's gameday? The "scout" function just claimed that Arroyo hasn't lost anything on his fastball, pouring it in at EIGHTY-SIX miles per hour.
Look out, here comes the cheese.
