New ballgame, same as the old ballgame.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Perfectly rested Hoover and Simon and even LeClure......who can save your ball game but he can never see it until the game is out of hand.

Just a rare off night. He has trouble with location and has been hit hard through out the game. In fact if not for a missed call back in the 3rd this game could be a lot worse.

At least the Reds are still in it. Looking at the score, I'm guessing the offense is getting to this kid pitching for the Rockies?

Yes they stuggled the first time through the order but got 5 hits the 2nd time through the order. So this game is a long way from over.
