Heisey retired himself in a 9-pitch AB where the pitcher didn't throw one freakin' ball in the strike zone.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Reds are not the type of team to produce runs with 2 outs. Just be happy we upped the pitchers pitch count

We have two disciplined hitters -- Votto and Hanigan. Everyone else will swing at any pitch, any time and in any location. I say give them all a copy of Ted Williams' book and have them read it 24/7 the way Joey does. They'll get more coaching from that book than they're getting from this coaching staff.

Look at Ludwick. Someone better go ask Bruce if he's ever heard of Wally Pipp.

Friedrich got Heisey for 1/5 of his outs....but Heisey forced him to throw 1/5 of his pitches as well.

Take your walk son....too much talk about his needing a first homer....walks are great

    WOW...you guys are just unreal.

Its 5 to 3, we have won 6 in a row, sometimes i wish baseball fans and announcers would realize that even All star hitters get out 70% of the time, and the World Series Champions typically lose over 70 baseball games every season.

although the offense has played a little better they are still one of the bottom 5 offenses in all of baseball. I hope people haven't forgotten about that and dont expect big things from it

It's crazy, isn't it? I think a couple of these posters would complain if we'd won 60 in a row and had a 50-game cushion over second place.
