    But, yeah, amazing grab. Didn't mean to diminish it. Just cracked me up that the LF fence was about 3 feet high.

    Great athletic catch. My question is since the ball landed over the fence and he landed over the fence as well shoul'dnt it still be a homer?

    I believe if the player is in the playing field when the catch is made, it results in an out. But if he had, say, hopped the fence and then caught the ball, it would have been a HR.

    As long as he takes off from the field of play it's not a HR.
