Seems like this is a big game. Consider, the Reds lose and they go 5-2 on the homestand. If you told me that, and I didn't know better, I would assume they split with the Braves and swept the Rockies - about what I would expect them to do.

6-1 would be a very impressive homestand.

Dopn't look know but if the Reds had Heisey in for Stubbs, the entire lineup would have OPS over .700.

Regression occurs over a larger sample size.

Ludwick finally has his OPS at .705 and, for example, a HR in his first AB would increase it to .750.

    Why is Heisey not playing?

Another lefty. Predicting big days for Stubbs, Frazier, Cozart, Hanigan and Ludwick. Phillips needs to come around against LHP. I suspect the Reds will score a lot of runs today. Hope I didn't jinx them.

To me it seems they struggle against soft-tossers. And Moyer is the King of that.

    Votto!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Soft tossing RH, I agree. They can't hit the RH breaking ball. Votto goes yard.
