I would love to see Homer dominate. 7 innings 3 hits 0 earned runs 1 walk 9 strike outs. Something along those lines.

Good to see Bruce going for Ripken's record.

Bruce is ice cold, but I'd rather see him out there than Ludwick.

Bruce will eventually get out of his slump and go on a crazy hot streak. I don't think days off or anything really plays into it, just that he's a super streaky player. May as well run him out there and hope tonight is the night. Plus he gives you good defense.

No McCann or Chipper tonight for the Braves, their offense is not that scary without them. Homer should be able to give us a good outing.

Stubbs in CF, Heisey in RF, Frazier in LF, Cairo 3rd

Bruce will eventually snap out of it...but anyone can go 0-4 and leave 6 guys on base....even Luddy.

The only thing going right now.....everyone else is stepping up so his 0-4, strikeouts and leaving runners on base isn't hurting us.....but right now, I'd have more trust with Mike Leake batting 5th.

Keep Bourn and Prado off base more than 7 times and everything should be fine.....Freeman IMO is very close on many swings...hope he stays just off.

How about hitting Bruce 2nd, don't know how we make it work, but if Stubby can do it surely Bruce could.

I wish Mesoraco would get off the Mendoza line and begin to show people why Jocketty chose to move Grandal (.311/.418/.489/.907 in AAA) instead of him.

Chipper, McCann and Freeman all out of the lineup. That should make things a bit easier.

I'd rather see Bruce in there trying to snap out of it than Cairo. I like Miguel in his role as pinch hitter.
